On the 6th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 235.05 yen (0.61%) higher from the previous day to 39,066.53 yen, rising for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1192, lost was 391, and unchanged was 54. The number of rising stocks significantly exceeded the number of falling stocks.

The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 78.13 yen. This was followed by Tokyo Electron <8035> at 50.31 yen, BANDAI NAMCO <7832> at 42.71 yen, KONAMI <9766> at 24.33 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> at 22.62 yen.

KDDI <9433> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 61.55 yen to The Nikkei. Below, DAIKIN INDUSTRIES <6367> was at 33.21 yen, FUJIFILM <4901> was at 22.29 yen, KIKKOMAN <2801> was at 15.78 yen, HONDA MOTOR <7267> was at 11.84 yen.
