On the 27th, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 713.10 yen (1.80%) higher from the previous day to 40,281.16 yen, rising for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 1358, lost was 250, and unchanged was 32. The percentage of rising stocks exceeded 80%.
The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 127.84 yen. This was followed by ADVANTEST <6857> at 92.59 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> at 54.25 yen, SoftBank Group Corp <9984> at 28.61 yen, TDK <6762> at 26.39 yen.
Yamaha Motor <7272> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 1.53 yen to The Nikkei. Below, JAPAN TOBACCO <2914> was at 1.45 yen, NISSAN MOTOR <7201> was at 1.42 yen, DENTSU <4324> was at 1.12 yen, CANON <7751> was at 1.04 yen.
By industry, 31 of the 33 industries gained, with only two industries, Mining Sector and Rubber Products Sector, lost. Electric Power & Gas Sector ranked as a top gainer, followed by Iron & Steel Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, Pharmaceuticals Sector, Services Sector, and Wholesale Trade Sector.
