The top positive contributor was FAST RETAILING <9983>, pushing up The Nikkei by 17.76 yen. This was followed by SUZUKI MOTOR <7269> at 6.44 yen, KDDI <9433> at 5.92 yen, KIKKOMAN <2801> at 5.67 yen, Fujikura <5803> at 4.08 yen.
SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 20.12 yen to The Nikkei. Below, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 11.84 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 11.31 yen, Shin-Etsu Chemical <4063> was at 10.19 yen, DISCO <6146> was at 10.06 yen.
By industry, 23 of the 33 industries gained. Banks Sector ranked first, followed by Insurance Sector, Textiles & Apparels Sector, and Precision Instruments Sector. Electric Power & Gas Sector, Mining Sector, and Glass & Ceramics Products Sector were among the top losers.
