The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026 (October 2025 to March 2026) decreased 26.9% from the same period last year to 68 million yen, fell short of the previous forecast of 92 million yen.
Progress toward the full-year plan of 48 million yen is 141.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary loss for the April to September period (second half) is expected to further decrease loss of 20 million yen (compared to a loss of 169 million yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (2Q), the ordinary profit grew 19.7% from the same period last year, reaching 140 million yen. The operating profit margin rose from 19.8% in the same period last year to 20.3%.
