LOOK HOLDINGS, Ordinary Profit Forecast for First Half Revised Upward to an Unexpected 8% Increase

Earnings ReportLOOK HOLDINGS INCORPRATED <8029> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 13th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026 (January to March) expanded 1.16 billion yen, an increase 96.9% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the January to June period (first half) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 57.1%, from the previous forecast of 0.70 billion yen to 1.10 billion yen (compared to 1.01 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 7.9% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
Furthermore, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged from the estimate of 2.00 billion yen(compared to 2.08 billion yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (1Q), the operating profit margin significantly improved from 3.9% in the same period last year to 8.2%.
