The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) expanded 6.10 billion yen, an increase 46.0% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 6.40 billion yen was 95.3%, also surpassing the five-year average (Excluding loss-making periods) of 80.1%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 82.0% from the same period last year to 0.29 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 2.4 times that of the same period last year, reaching 0.76 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 5.8% in the same period last year to 6.5%.
