Earnings ReportChugoku Marine Paints,Ltd. <4617> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 11th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026 increased by 8.2% from the previous period to 17.8 billion yen. This marks the fifth consecutive term of revenue and the fourth consecutive term of profit growth. Furthermore, the company projects revenue in the range of 140 billion to 160 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 2027.
At the same time, the company plans to remove the special dividend of the previous term and set the dividend for this term at an ordinary dividend of 100 yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit amounted to 4.57 billion yen, an increase of 2.5% compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin rose from 10.7% in the same period last year to 12.1%.
