Earnings ReportSumitomo Bakelite Company Limited <4203> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) at noon (11:30) on May 11th. The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to 45.3% from the previous period to 28.0 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income is expected to grow by 1.7% to 28.5 billion yen, marking the second consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the seventh consecutive term of revenue growth.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 120 yen, an increase of 10 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income grew 29.4% from the same period last year, reaching 8.31 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 8.9% in the same period last year to 13.0%.
