Guidance Update ReportASAHI BROADCASTING GROUP HOLDINGS CORPORATION <9405> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on May 8th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 19.3%, from the previous forecast of 3.70 billion yen to 4.41 billion yen (compared to 2.50 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 47.6% to 76.2%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 29.8%, from the previous forecast of 2.40 billion yen to 3.11 billion yen (compared to 3.55 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 32.4% to 12.2%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 30 yen to 33 yen (compared to 13 yen in the previous period).
