Earnings ReportSHIBUYA CORPORATION <6340> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 8th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending June 2026 (July 2025 to March 2026) decreased 19.6% from the same period last year to 8.55 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 13.2 billion yen was 64.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 68.6%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the April to June period (4Q) is expected to expand 48.4% from the same period last year, reaching 4.64 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit amounted to 3.24 billion yen, a 0.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.5% in the same period last year to 9.4%.
