IHI, 2% Increase in Net Income, Update Record High for Third Consecutive Term, Dividend Effectively Increased

Earnings ReportIHI Corporation <7013> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 8th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ended March 2026 expanded to 42.8% from the previous period to 160 billion yen, exceeding the previous forecast of 125 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated net income is expected to grow by 2.5% to 165 billion yen, marking the third consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the third consecutive term of revenue growth.
At the same time, the annual dividend for this fiscal year is 23 yen, taking into account the previous year's forward stock split, this dividend represents an actual increase of 15.0%.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income surged 2.1 times that of the same period last year, reaching 75.9 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 8.4% in the same period last year to 12.3%.
