Guidance Update ReportDAIICHI SANKYO COMPANY, LIMITED <4568> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on May 8th (13:00). The consolidated net income forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 9.7%, from the previous forecast of 288 billion yen to 260 billion yen (compared to 295 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 2.6% to 12.1%.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated net income has decreased 17.8%, from the previous forecast of 157 billion yen to 129 billion yen (compared to 149 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 13.3% decrease in profit.
