CHIMNEY CO., LTD. <3178> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision after the market closed on May 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 18.5%, from the previous forecast of 0.65 billion yen to 0.53 billion yen (compared to 1.05 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 38.4% to 49.8%.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 21.3%, from the previous forecast of 0.56 billion yen to 0.44 billion yen (compared to 0.69 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 19.1% to 36.4%.
