Guidance Update ReportSUGAI CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD. <4120> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on May 1st (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 34.4%, from the previous forecast of 430 million yen to 578 million yen (compared to 644 million yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 33.2% to 10.2%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) ordinary profit has been revised upward 87.6%, from the previous forecast of 169 million yen to 317 million yen (compared to 464 million yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 63.6% to 31.7%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 70 yen to 90 yen (compared to 70 yen in the previous period).
