Dainichi, Ordinary Profit Forecast for Last Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 30%, Dividend Revised Upward by 6 Yen

Guidance Update ReportDainichi Co., Ltd. <5951> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on May 1st (15:30). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 30.0%, from the previous forecast of 1.60 billion yen to 2.08 billion yen (compared to 1.57 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 1.8% to 32.3%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) ordinary profit is expected to increase 42.2%, from the previous forecast of 1.13 billion yen to 1.61 billion yen (compared to 1.37 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 17.9% increase in the ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 22 yen to 28 yen (compared to 22 yen in the previous period).
