Sekisui Kasei Co.,Ltd. <4228> [TSE Prime] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on April 27th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 25.0%, from the previous forecast of 1.60 billion yen to 2.00 billion yen (compared to 0.10 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 16 times to 20 times.

Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 28.7%, from the previous forecast of 1.39 billion yen to 1.79 billion yen (compared to 0.48 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 2.9 times to 3.7 times.

In light of the strong performance, the company has significantly increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 10 yen to 15 yen (compared to 3 yen in the previous period).
