Guidance Update ReportIWATSUKA CONFECTIONERY CO.,LTD. <2221> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend in the afternoon session on April 27th (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been revised upward 29.5%, from the previous forecast of 2.20 billion yen to 2.85 billion yen (compared to 3.96 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 44.5% to 28.1%.
Based on the upwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit is expected to increase 8.7 times, from the previous forecast of 0.08 billion yen to 0.73 billion yen (compared to 0.60 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 21.3% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the last fiscal year from the original plan of 30 yen to 32 yen (compared to 30 yen in the previous period).
