Rengo, Ordinary Profit Forecast for Last Fiscal Year Revised Downward to an Unexpected 6% Decrease

The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has decreased 7.5%, from the previous forecast of 40.0 billion yen to 37.0 billion yen (compared to 39.1 billion yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 5.6% decrease in profit.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the October to March period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 15.0%, from the previous forecast of 19.9 billion yen to 16.9 billion yen (compared to 17.3 billion yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 2.0% decrease in profit.
