Earnings ReportCados Corporation <211A> [TSE Std] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on March 13th (14:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending July 2026 (August 2025 to January 2026) significantly dropped 70.0% from the same period last year to 138 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 988 million yen was 14.0%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 49.1%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the February to July period (second half) is expected to expand 78.2% from the same period last year, reaching 850 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from November to January (2Q), the ordinary profit significantly dropped to 95 million yen, a 67.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 14.1% in the same period last year to 7.3%.
