NISHIKAWA RUBBER, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 35%, Highest in Nine Terms, Dividend Revised Upward by 1 Yen

Earnings ReportNISHIKAWA RUBBER CO., LTD. <5161> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 12th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) expanded 8.59 billion yen, an increase 51.2% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 34.9%, from the previous forecast of 8.30 billion yen to 11.2 billion yen (compared to 7.61 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 9.0% to 47.0%, reaches new record high for the first time in nine terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 81.4%, from the previous forecast of 3.56 billion yen to 6.46 billion yen (compared to 3.87 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 66.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 181 yen to 182 yen (compared to 209 yen before the 2-for-1 forward stock split in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 98.6% from the same period last year, reaching 3.85 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 5.1% in the same period last year to 8.2%.
