LIFENET INSURANCE, Net Income Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 13%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast

Earnings ReportLIFENET INSURANCE COMPANY <7157> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on February 12th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 25.9% from the same period last year, reaching 6.24 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 13.0%, from the previous forecast of 6.90 billion yen to 7.80 billion yen (compared to 5.99 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 15.1% to 30.2%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for four consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated net income for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 37.2%, from the previous forecast of 2.42 billion yen to 3.32 billion yen (compared to 2.84 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 16.9% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income amounted to 1.76 billion yen, a 2.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.
