The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) decreased 11.7% from the same period last year to 7.87 billion yen. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 10.1 billion yen was 78.0%, almost the same as the five-year average of 78.1%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to nearly flat at 2.22 billion yen, up 0.1% from the same period last year.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 3.41 billion yen, a 15.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.2% in the same period last year to 8.2%.
