Earnings ReportTOMY COMPANY,LTD. <7867> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 10th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) was 21.6 billion yen, a 2.6% decrease compared to the same period last year.
However, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 6.9%, from the previous forecast of 21.8 billion yen to 23.3 billion yen (compared to 24.0 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 9.3% to 3.0%. However, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has decreased 28.6%, from the previous forecast of 14.0 billion yen to 10.0 billion yen (compared to 16.3 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 14.4% to 38.8%.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) has been revised upward 15.0%, from the previous forecast of 9.97 billion yen to 11.4 billion yen (compared to 12.1 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 17.8% to 5.5%.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 9.79 billion yen, a 5.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 14.4% in the same period last year to 12.2%.
