Earnings ReportIHI Corporation <7013> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on February 10th (13:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 10.7% from the same period last year, reaching 85.0 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 125 billion yen was 68.0%, exceeding the five-year average of 56.9%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to grow 11.2% from the same period last year, reaching 39.9 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 29.1 billion yen, a 22.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 6.7% in the same period last year to 8.0%.
