Earnings ReportMie Kotsu Group Holdings,Inc. <3232> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 4th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) increased 4.7% from the same period last year, reaching 8.10 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 6.7%, from the previous forecast of 9.00 billion yen to 9.60 billion yen (compared to 8.51 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 5.7% to 12.8%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for three consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to increase 16.1%, from the previous forecast of 3.73 billion yen to 4.33 billion yen (compared to 3.27 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 14.1% to 32.4%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 16 yen to 18 yen (compared to 14 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit grew 13.4% from the same period last year, reaching 2.84 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 9.8% in the same period last year to 10.5%.
