Earnings ReportTOYOTA BOSHOKU CORPORATION <3116> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on February 3rd (14:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) was 28.6 billion yen, a 1.2% increase compared to the same period last year. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 45.0 billion yen was 63.6%, also falling below the five-year average of 80.6%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 16.3 billion yen (compared to a loss of 11.5 billion yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 11.2 billion yen, a 24.2% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 3.6% in the same period last year to 4.3%.
