HACHI-BAN CO.,LTD. <9950> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on January 30th (16:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to December) significantly dropped 53.1% from the same period last year to 238 million yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 327 million yen was 72.8%, also falling below the five-year average of 107.6%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 89 million yen (compared to a loss of 45 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 7 million yen (compared to a profit of 86 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 2.6% in the same period last year to -1.4%.
