Newtech, Net Income Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Downward to an Unexpected 70% Decrease, Postponed Dividend for This Fiscal Year

Guidance Update ReportNewtech Co., Ltd. <6734> [TSE Std] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on December 18th (15:30). The consolidated net income forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2026 has decreased 70.4%, from the previous forecast of 270 million yen to 80 million yen (compared to 267 million yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 70.0% decrease in profit.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the September to February period (second half) consolidated net income/loss has been revised downward from an expected profit of 99 million yen to a loss of 91 million yen (compared to a profit of 160 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.
At the same time, In conjunction with a Tender Offer Bid (TOB), the company has decided to forgo the year-end lump-sum dividend of 50 yen for the current fiscal year.
