The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) was 231 million yen, a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 534 million yen was 43.3%, also falling below the five-year average of 47.8%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand 64.7% from the same period last year, reaching 303 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 54.3% from the same period last year, reaching 162 million yen. The operating profit margin improved from 8.1% in the same period last year to 8.7%.
