Earnings ReportAMUSE INC. <4301> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 14th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) surged 2.5 times that of the same period last year, reaching 4.99 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 13.2%, from the previous forecast of 3.80 billion yen to 4.30 billion yen (compared to 2.96 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 28.2% to 45.1%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to turn into a loss of 0.69 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.95 billion yen in the same period last year).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 39.0% from the same period last year, reaching 1.45 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 5.4% in the same period last year to 8.0%.
