Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co.,Ltd. <1821> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results at noon (11:30) on November 14th. The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) turned into a profit of 3.41 billion yen (compared to a loss of 9.27 billion yen in the same period last year).

At the same time, the company has decided not to pay the first-half dividend, which had previously been undecided.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of 2.35 billion yen (compared to a loss of 10.7 billion yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -8.0% in the same period last year to 2.9%.
