BANDAI NAMCO Holdings Inc. <7832> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results at noon (11:35) on November 6th. The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) decreased 4.6% from the same period last year to 110 billion yen.

However, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 15.4%, from the previous forecast of 149 billion yen to 172 billion yen (compared to 186 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 20.1% to 7.8%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease 12.9% from the same period last year to 61.8 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 55.5 billion yen, a 16.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 21.1% in the same period last year to 15.6%.
