ZENKOKU HOSHO Co.,Ltd <7164> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 5th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) was 16.8 billion yen, a 2.3% increase compared to the same period last year. However, Progress toward the full-year plan of 45.1 billion yen was 37.4%, almost the same as the five-year average of 38.8%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to nearly flat at 28.2 billion yen, up 0.7% from the same period last year.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit amounted to 8.20 billion yen, a 1.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 67.1% in the same period last year to 62.3%.
