WOWOW, Ordinary Profit Forecast for First Half Revised Upward to an Unexpected 31% Increase

WOWOW INC. <4839> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on October 28th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) has been revised upward 3.5 times, from the previous forecast of 0.60 billion yen to 2.10 billion yen (compared to 1.60 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 30.8% increase in the consolidated ordinary profit outlook.

Furthermore, the full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged from the estimate of 1.50 billion yen(compared to 2.99 billion yen in the previous period).
