KINDEN, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Upward by 24%, Raises Record High Profit Forecast, Dividend Revised Upward by 20 Yen

Earnings ReportKINDEN CORPORATION <1944> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 28th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September) surged 2.4 times that of the same period last year, reaching 34.0 billion yen, exceeded the previous forecast of 24.0 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 23.6%, from the previous forecast of 70.0 billion yen to 86.5 billion yen (compared to 64.5 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 8.4% to 34.0%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for two consecutive terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow 4.4% from the same period last year, reaching 52.4 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 100 yen to 120 yen (compared to 90 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit surged 2.4 times that of the same period last year, reaching 25.2 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 6.6% in the same period last year to 13.7%.
