SAKATA SEED CORPORATION <1377> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2026 (June to August) expanded 4.86 billion yen, an increase 90.2% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the plan for the six months ending November (first half) of 5.00 billion yen was 97.3%, also surpassing the five-year average of 54.3%.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (1Q), the operating profit margin jumped from 13.0% in the same period last year to 19.4%.
