The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2025 (November 2024 to July 2025) decreased 7.3% from the same period last year to 22.2 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 35.5 billion yen was 62.7%, also falling below the five-year average of 66.4%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the August to October period (4Q) is expected to grow 15.7% from the same period last year, reaching 13.2 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from May to July (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 8.35 billion yen, a 7.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.6% in the same period last year to 8.9%.
