TOMITA ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. <6898> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on September 9th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2026 (February to July) was a reduced loss of 26 million yen (compared to a loss of 69 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the August to January period (second half) is expected to turn into a profit of 10 million yen (compared to a loss of 98 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from May to July (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of 30 million yen (compared to a loss of 42 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -12.0% in the same period last year to 5.0%.
