The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) surged 4.8 times that of the same period last year, reaching 164 million yen.
In addition, the April to September period (first half) ordinary profit has been revised upward 4.0 times, from the previous forecast of 48 million yen to 193 million yen (compared to 104 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to an 85.6% increase in the ordinary profit outlook.
Following the strong performance in the first half, the full-year forecast for ordinary profit has been revised upward 27.0%, from the previous forecast of 185 million yen to 235 million yen (compared to 366 million yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 49.5% to 35.8%.
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin drastically improved from 0.6% in the same period last year to 11.5%.
