Earnings ReportFOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD. <3563> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the morning on August 6th (10:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2025 (October 2024 to June 2025) expanded 18.0 billion yen, an increase 74.3% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year forecast for consolidated net income has been revised upward 10.5%, from the previous forecast of 19.0 billion yen to 21.0 billion yen (compared to 14.6 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 29.8% to 43.5%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for two consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated net income for the April to September period (second half) is expected to increase 28.0%, from the previous forecast of 7.13 billion yen to 9.13 billion yen (compared to 7.35 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a 24.1% increase in the consolidated net income outlook.
In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (3Q), the consolidated net income surged 2.0 times that of the same period last year, reaching 6.20 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 5.7% in the same period last year to 8.8%.
