KDDI CORPORATION <9433> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on August 1st (15:45). The consolidated net income for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) decreased 3.3% from the same period last year to 171 billion yen. Progress toward the full-year plan of 748 billion yen was 22.9%, almost the same as the five-year average of 27.6%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin decreased from 19.9% in the same period last year to 19.0%.
