Daicel Corporation <4202> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on August 1st (13:20). The consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to June) dropped 32.1% from the same period last year to 12.3 billion yen. Progress toward the plan for the six months ending September (first half) of 23.5 billion yen was 52.5%, also surpassing the five-year average of 48.1%.

In the most recent three-month period, from April to June (1Q), the operating profit margin decreased from 12.0% in the same period last year to 9.4%.
