CAREER, Ordinary Profit Forecast for the Fiscal Year Revised Downward to an Unexpected 86% Decrease, Dividend Dividend Also Turns into No Dividend
6198 CAREER CO.,LTD 【J-GAAP】
Guidance Update ReportCAREER CO.,LTD <6198> [TSE Growth] announced a revision to its performance and dividend after the market closed on June 26th (17:00). The consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2025 has decreased 89.6%, from the previous forecast of 530 million yen to 55 million yen (compared to 399 million yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of an 86.2% decrease in profit.
Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the April to September period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has decreased 82.9%, from the previous forecast of 573 million yen to 98 million yen (compared to 227 million yen in the same period of the previous year). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 56.8% decrease in profit.
Due to a decline in performance, the plan to pay a year-end lump-sum dividend of 6.25 yen has been abandoned, and the policy has been set to forego dividends for the first time in two terms, falling to a no-dividend status (compared to 6.25 yen in the prior term).
