Earnings ReportNATOCO CO.,LTD. <4627> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 30th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending October 2025 (November 2024 to April 2025) was 0.53 billion yen, a 0.7% decrease compared to the same period last year, resulting in a decrease in profits compared to the previous forecast of a 3.3% increase.
The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 1.5 billion yen was 35.9%, also falling below the five-year average of 41.7%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the May to October period (2H) is expected to grow 15.2% from the same period last year, reaching 0.96 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from February to April (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 0.13 billion yen, a 62.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 4.6% in the same period last year to 5.3%.
