KDDI, 9% Increase in Net Income, Update Record High for Second Consecutive Term, Dividend Effectively Increased

Earnings ReportKDDI CORPORATION <9433> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on May 14th (15:45). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 7.5% from the previous period to 685 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated net income is expected to grow by 9.1% to 748 billion yen, marking the second consecutive term of record-high profits.
At the same time, the annual dividend for this fiscal year is 80 yen, taking into account the forward stock split scheduled to be allocated on March 31, this dividend represents an actual increase of 10.3%.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income increased 61.5% from the same period last year, reaching 149 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 7.7% in the same period last year to 16.4%.
