Earnings ReportNippon Soda Co.,Ltd. <4041> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 14th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending March 2025 decreased 16.2% from the previous period to 19.5 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 14.0% from the previous period to 16.8 billion yen. This will be the third consecutive term of declining profits.
At the same time, the company intends to pay an annual dividend of 140 yen for the current fiscal year, with the actual dividend unchanged from the previous year's dividend after taking the previous year's forward stock split into account.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 4.96 billion yen, a 38.0% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 8.4% in the same period last year to 10.2%.
