Earnings ReportYKT CORPORATION <2693> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on May 9th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary loss for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2025 (January to March) was a reduced loss of 110 million yen (compared to a loss of 138 million yen in the same period last year).
However, the January to June period (1H) consolidated ordinary profit/loss has been revised downward from an expected profit of 50 million yen to a loss of 270 million yen (compared to a loss of 82 million yen in the same period of the previous year), turning to a loss outlook.
Furthermore, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged from the estimate of 270 million yen(compared to 143 million yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (1Q), the operating profit/loss margin improved from -9.3% in the same period last year to -7.5%.
