Earnings ReportIHI Corporation <7013> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 8th (13:00). The consolidated net income/loss for the fiscal year ending March 2025 turned into a profit of 112 billion yen (compared to a loss of 68.2 billion yen in the previous period), exceeding the previous forecast of 90 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the consolidated net income is expected to is 6.4% to 120 billion yen, marking the second consecutive term of record-high profits.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 140 yen, an increase of 20 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income decreased to 35.9 billion yen, a 13.1% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin improved from 7.4% in the same period last year to 8.4%.
