Mitsubishi, 26% Decrease in Net Income for The Current Fiscal Year, Dividend Raised by 10 yen

Earnings ReportMitsubishi Corporation <8058> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 2nd (14:15). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 decreased 1.4% from the previous period to 950 billion yen. In the fiscal year ending March 2026, the profit is expected to decrease by 26.4% from the previous period to 700 billion yen. This will be the third consecutive term of declining profits.
At the same time, the company has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 110 yen, an increase of 10 yen from the previous fiscal year.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income significantly dropped to 123 billion yen, a 53.9% decrease compared to the same period last year.
