ITOCHU, 2% Increase in Net Income, Update Record High for Second Consecutive Term

Earnings ReportITOCHU Corporation <8001> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) in the afternoon session on May 2nd (13:00). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending March 2025 increased 9.8% from the previous period to 880 billion yen. In the fiscal year ending March 2026, the profit is expected to grow by 2.2% to 900 billion yen, marking the second consecutive term of record-high profits. This will be the third consecutive term of profit growth.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated net income grew 7.2% from the same period last year, reaching 203 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin worsened from 4.6% in the same period last year to 4.0%.
